Dear Friends, Family and Customers,

It is with certain sadness that I pen this to advise that I will be leaving Honda George at the end of the month and will be joining the Ford team in town. It is a case of the "chicken" coming home to roost after a 6 year stint with Honda. My resignation as Director and shareholder is purely a personal one and I leave with no ill feeling or animosity.

Before opening the Honda Franchise in George in 2004, I worked for Ford both in the wholesale environment and then in retail for 11 years so look forward to being back with product that has gained recognition in the market place and offer a very comprehensive model line up with a vastly improved product quality reputation.

Honda continues in George with their superb reputation for quality under the guidance of Roger Bath who, ironically, used to be the owner of the Ford Dealership. I wish him all the best in his new venture.

Lastly I want to thank the staff at Honda George who has given loyal service sometimes under very difficult market conditions and their willingness to get “stuck in” when the going got tough.
